The Monet Curtain Construction:

The shimmering, deeply textured Monet curtain is truly the star of the show. Many hidden treasures are installed inside it, revealed as Mary Poppins explores and enters Monet’s world. Using a magical paintbrush, she opens flowers and unveils lily pond leaves, while the animals who live on the lake come out to play. The curtain was constructed from vintage lace and recycled tulle, largely sourced from old, discarded wedding dresses. Its rich, layered texture is created by patchworking these transparent fabrics in a haphazard, overlapping manner, building up a surface reminiscent of Monet’s brushstrokes and signature painterly style.
